Aston Villa got a 0 - 0 draw against Stoke City: O'neall is happy with the result

Share |

Aston Villa rescued only one point from their visit to Stoke City's field. The game finished 0-0 despite many chances created by Petrov and Carew.

Aston Villa had many moments of great football this Premier League season, but this game was an exception. James Milner, who is used to creating every offensive move of his team, had a terrible day. Meanwhile, the strikers had zero precision to score a goal. Both sides did not have the answer to find the opener in a very dull clash.

Despite that, coach Martin O'Neill was happy with the result: "It was a really tough afternoon for us. We defended very stoutly indeed. Still, we must understand that this match didn't have that many clear cut chances. So, it I think a draw was probably a fair ending for the match".

Carew sucks... please sell him, or trade him for some other striker.
